I wouldn't want to drive in that either. Although it is slightly inconvenient not to have our "stuff", it really is okay. Thankfully a friend here has loaned us some toys, we have cable TV for the first time ever (Nick Jr is pretty cool), we have the computer, we have a fenced yard and we have a great new area to check out!
We have visited 3 preschools and have one more visit planned for tomorrow. We decided not to pursue that one that we would need to interview for (although I did briefly consider it - it is only BLOCKS from our house.... how nice would that be?!?). But then the reality of interviewing to get into a preschool hit and I again concluded that was ridiculous.

| Gingerbread house: Elijah put on EVERY piece of candy. He just directed me with where to put the frosting. And if I put it in the wrong place, the only way to fix it was obviously to lick off the frosting. Obviously. Happy December!!! |
Tell E his house looks delicious! How fun to have a new area to explore and no "stuff" to unpack just yet. (although I probably wouldn't feel settled until I had it, either)

It was a friend from Colorado who also happened to move here this year. I haven't actually met anyone new here other than numerous preschool teachers and our neighbors (who are both very nice). :-)
